On Friday October 27th, cadets took the lead at the Monterey High School Homecoming parade which consisted of an honor guard followed by a color guard and a platoon.

On Friday, October 26th, the Naval Postgraduate school hosted their Day of Discovery. This annual event opens the NPS campus to local elementary, middle, and high schools to come for a day of interactive learning and STEM-based activities.

​On Saturday, December 8th, Monterey High School hosted it's very own drill meet. Many high schools from around the Monterey County came to participate in this great event: Marina, Seaside, Everett Alvarez, and Soledad.

On Friday, September 28th, students and staff of Walter Colton Middle School prepared for their school dance. Food was prepared, decorations were hung, and 7 cadets from our own Monterey NJROTC drove over to help out the middle-schoolers at their dance.

On the weekend of September 29th, JROTC cadets volunteered to help out at the Salinas Valley Air Show-an event full of food, fun, and lots of noise!
